Since this time of year happens to have us in the giving spirit, we’ve decided to take it upon ourselves to put together a list of watch-worthy Christmas movies for when you’re wanting to enjoy a festive film you may not have seen (or in some cases, even heard about) before - but aren’t entirely certain where to start. “A Charlie Brown Christmas“.īut for every single “Miracle On 34th Street“, there are 20 (so-called) movies just like “A Boyfriend for Christmas” that are just not (in any way – at least, in our humble opinions) deserving of your conscious hours. You know, the movies like: “White Christmas“. With only so many viewing hours available during the holiday crush, how are we supposed to know WHICH of these Christmas movies to actually watch?Įverybody knows about those movies in the top tier that represent the “Best Christmas Films of All Time”. The trouble sets in when it comes time to separate the proverbial wheat from the chaff. We haven’t even touched any of the original content premiering on the ten trillion Netflix, Hulu, Vudu, Amazon prime, Apple TV, HBO Max, Starz, and endless other streaming options now available from the comfort of our own homes!ĭon’t get us wrong. That’s just one year - and on only two channels.

Add to that the 30 NEW holiday films premiered as part of the “It’s A Wonderful Lifetime” slate this year. Just look at the low-hanging numbers! In 2020 alone, Hallmark Channel is premiering 40 NEW holiday movies. Have you noticed that, sometime over the last few years, WAY TOO MANY Christmas movies of questionable quality have started completely flooding our lives?
